1. Overview
Chalisa Sangrah is an Android app to read and listen to Hindu Chalisas in Hindi and English. We do not ask you to create an account or provide personal details to use the core features of the app.
2. Information we collect
The app itself does not require you to enter your name, email, or similar personal details. However, certain information may be collected or stored as described below:
- Local preferences — your favourite Chalisas, language choice (Hindi / English), and theme preference (light / dark) are stored on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you uninstall the app.
- Issue reports — if you use the in-app “Report Issue” feature, we collect the Chalisa ID, issue type, any optional details you provide, and a timestamp. Reports are sent to Google Firebase Firestore for review.
- Anonymous usage data — such as screens viewed, basic device information, and app version — to help us understand how the app is used and improve stability and performance.
- Crash logs and error reports, which may include non-identifying technical data about your device and operating system.
- Advertising data collected by Google AdMob in connection with showing ads in the app (see section 3).
3. Advertising and third‑party services
Chalisa Sangrah uses Google AdMob to display ads, including banner, interstitial, native, and rewarded ad formats. AdMob may collect and process data in accordance with Google's own policies, including for ad personalisation and measurement.
The app also uses Google Firebase Firestore to store issue reports you submit voluntarily, and streams audio from third-party content delivery networks when you choose to listen to a Chalisa. These services may process technical data such as your IP address and device information as part of normal network requests.

4. How we use data
- To fix crashes and improve the stability of the app.
- To review and address content issues reported through the in-app report feature.
- To understand which devices, screen sizes, and Android versions we should support.
- To deliver streaming audio when you choose to listen to a Chalisa.
- To show and manage ads in compliance with our advertising partners' policies.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Your choices
- You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all further data collection from your device by Chalisa Sangrah.
- You can manage ad personalisation from your Google account and Android system settings.
6. Children’s privacy
Chalisa Sangrah is a devotional app intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can review and address the situation.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We recommend that you review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your data.
